We are ALMOST there

That statement holds true for many things! We are ALMOST there to having our baby! I can not believe I am almost 35 weeks...the pic below is 34 weeks! I just keep growing and growing and Sadie just keeps moving and moving more and more everyday! I can definitely tell she is in the same position but just readjusting herself for comfort. She is also dropping...my belly is not nearly as high as it used to be, and I can feel her pushing on my lower abdomen A LOT more!

My only complaint right now is that my sleep is being broken up about 2 times a night by my bathroom breaks!! I guess this is just preperation for breastfeeing when Sadie comes. Everything else is AWESOME.

We had a doctor's appt on Friday. Sadie's heartbeat was very strong. The doctor said my belly was measuring a little small...he said he only told me this and said this so we can do another ultrasound. We will go to the Doctor on the 23rd and I will be just over 36 weeks and we will get to see Sadie for the last time in utero...after that we will see her beautiful face and little fingers and little toes in our arms!

We are also almost there with the nursery! Sadie has an ALMOST full closet...

And an ALMOST fully decorated nursery...

Basically all we have left to do is put some things on the wall....finish filling the closet...and organizing additional blankets and clothes and other little goodies!! So exciting!

Bump Pics

So Karrey gave Sadie a cute nickname...the Beach Bump! I love it! I haven't posted pics in a bit, but they are below! Sadie and I are growing SOOO much and SOOO fast! I can't believe we will have our little girl in 7 weeks or so! That is just absolutely amazing to me!

We are definitely growing! I also know this because Sadie is losing space in there and I can feel her stretching! It is very odd. There are times where she just karate kicks me, but there are times where she is stretching in 2 different directions at the same time! She loves to eat...just like her mommy and daddy! She gets very excited right after I eat! It's so cool! I had mexican for dinner last night and I swear she transformed into a mexican jumping bean when I finished! It was so funny!

Sadie's room is coming along as you see in the post below, but we have ordered the bedding set and can't wait for it to arrive! The set comes with a comforter, bumper, blanket, bed skirt, fitted sheet, and decorative pillow. So PERFECT! Once we receive the set we can color match the purple for the paint, then we just paint, put the furniture together, wash her clothes, organize and accesorize a bit and we will be all ready for baby girl! Here is a picture of Sadie's Bedding set! Not beachy like we originally planned, but super cute and perfect for our baby! It will be just precious!

I just can NOT believe we only have 7 weeks left! It is just sooo crazy to me! Our second shower (first one was on January 24th) will be on February 20th and then my niece (who's 18th Birthday is that day) is going to do our maternity pictures! So much exciting stuff happening and just so little time to blog about it!

I will update more...even though this was a LONG update...again soon. I will post pics from the 1st shower, hopefully before we have the 2nd shower, and I will keep updating about the Nursery progress! P.S. The Doctor says Sadie is awesome and healthy which is a great plus as well!! We have another appointment next week and then should be getting another ultrasound at 36 weeks...then we will be just 4 weeks out...HOLY CRAP!!!!!

Less than 10 weeks to go!

Here's the 30 week picture...Sadie must be growing a ton in there, because I am really growing from the outside!! The update says she is about 15.7" long from head to heal and like 3 pounds or so. I stil feel great...doing prenatal yoga is awesome! I've been working a lot so the tiredness is starting to catch up with me every so often...but then I sleep and I am good to go.

Sadie moves around a TON! Sometimes it gets a little painful...not sure if she doesn't have as much space as she would like, or if she thinks she has more than she does...whatever it is...OUCH! She also gets the hiccups about once a day. Gil thinks it is SOOO funny when she has them...I just feel bad for our little girl!

Our Dr's appt was fun on Thursday. Sadie's heartbeat is nice and strong! We also asked about cord blood banking and what our Dr. thought about it...he recommends it if it is financially doable. We are weighing our options!



Thursday was a VERY busy day for us! We went to Babies R Us and finished up our registry... we even got to park in the "stork parking" spaces!!! See Below :)

While we were there we added a bunch of stuff and we also bought Sadie's furniture! SOOO excited! We should be able to pick it up in 7-14 days. That should be just enough time to get the room painted and all ready to go! Look for a nursery update soon! Don't want to overload all at once! All in all everything is fabulous and moving in the right direction!!

Dr appt on Wednesday

We went to the Doctor on Tuesday and Sadie must have been soooo excited, or just finished a work out or something because her heart was POUNDING SOO LOUD! The Doctor was very impressed with her as was I and Gil! The Dr even turned the volume down on his little machine thing and it was still so loud!

I also had to do my gestational diabetes test. Drank some REALLY sweet orange sugar water on the way and then they took 2 things of blood at the end of the appointment. We shall see what the results are soon!

We go back to the doctor in a couple of weeks and either this next time or the time after we will see our little girl again. Doctor wants to measure her and make sure she is still perfect!!

Everything else is going good! We gotta get working on the nursery...I keep telling Gil I want to have a garage sale to get rid of our old bed and some other stuff that we have, and he keeps saying I'm not gonna do it...I gotta get it together and just prove him wrong! Sooner rather than later I'm gonna do it and make some $$ to spend on Sadie!! YAY!!

A game...

It's soo fun and there are quite a few guesses...I am guessing a small baby before my due date! LOL...typical for an expectant mom! Who would want a HUGE baby after their due date in all honesty?

Really, I just want her to be healthy! Can't wait to see all of guesses and to meet our little girl!

Sadie's nursery

Gil and I went to babies R Us last weekend and I think after much debate we have decided on the Delta Soho set in white. Here are the pics:

We have decided to pain the walls in the Nursery a light purple and we are looking for a bedding set and decor for the room. We like beachy stuff, but we want her to have a girly beachy room, so we shall see how it ends up!

After we were at Babies R Us I decided to go online and start a registry...I think I put like 5 things on there, but nothing major or anything that will DEFINITELY stick. I know I am getting quite a few things from my best friend Bevy...she's giving me a stroller and car seat set AKA a travel system, as well as a bassinet, clothes, a diaper disposal, bath tub, boppy, and some other stuff. I feel SOOO blessed! AND I have already received a vibrating swing from one of my mom's friends. I can't believe how much stuff is coming, but how much more there is to get for our little girl!

On another note... My belly is getting big. More and more everyday Sadie is moving around in there and growing and everyone keeps telling me I'm getting big...If I'm getting big now how the heck am I gonna look in 3 more months? I will post belly pics soon!

It's been a while!

WOW!! I just realized I haven't updated since our anniversary! November was a very busy month! I worked a lot, went to Ft. lauderdale to see Legally Blonde...Sadie LOVED the show, and then before I knew it, we had family coming in to town for thanksgiving and now it is December 1st!

So, some updates...Sadie's been growing like a mad woman, dancing up a storm inside of me! Some days she is MUCH more active than others...but she is ALWAYS wide awake when I'm ready to go to bed. She must know what time it is. One time I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and before I was to the toilet and back to the bed she was squirming around!

Below are pictures from 21 weeks, 23 weeks, 23.5 weeks, and 24 weeks. My belly REALLY popped after week 22! It is soo crazy! Gil is really in to taking lots and lots of pictures of me now. It's wonderful! I am glad you can finally tell I'm preggo and not just having a fat day! I can no longer zipper or button my pants, so thank god for belly bands! It will soon be time to invest in some maternity pants!

I like when people ask when I'm due and how I'm feeling, but sometimes some people get a little TOO personal...I usually try not to let it bother me, but sometimes it just erks me!

Tomorrow is my next Doctor's appointment. I am figuring we won't have an ultrasound, but I now have a ton more questions to ask the doc like...what do hiccups feel like, what do braxton hicks feel like, and some other things I can't think of now!

Preparing the house!

We are growing a family, so that means we need to go big...they say bigger is better and in this furniture situation I HAVE to agree!!!

Last week we went to Rooms to Go and got our Dining room set and a new bed! Halle-Freakin-Luyah for a king size bed is all I have to say!!

Time for a group update!

So, Work has TOTALLY been kicking my booty...I am there pretty long hours and when I come home, well it's just time to go to bed! I have the opportunity now, as I sit in an empty house on this beautiful Sunday...My windows are open and there is a BEAUTIFUL breeze blowing...to update you about the last couple of weeks.

As the weeks pass, I slowly but surely am leaning towards finding out if we are having a boy or a girl. As the 18 week mark arrives tomorrow, and I have an appointment on Wednesday, and I HAVEN'T had an ultrasound in 13 weeks...I think it's time to whip my Ob into shape and get an ultrasound. I will DEFINITELY keep you posted about the outcome.

Nothing's really changed, still have headaches every so often, but no other sickness or over exhaustion or anything of that sort...I think I have been really blessed without illnesses or symptoms for the first 18 weeks!

We have been taking pictures, but my belly doesn't seem to be growing!!!! DANG! I want something to show for these last 18 weeks. I know it has to be, and it is, but not noticeably. I had to buy a belly band yesterday cause OMG...my jeans are just too tight now! I know I am crazy for wanting my belly to grow so much, because everyone I talk to who is REALLY preggo or just had a baby is like, you are definitely going to want it to shrink at the end. Anyways, enough rambling...here's the pics:
